These mounting brackets come with a retaining pin so they can be used to mount your Castek Rod Caddy nearly anywhere without risk of coming out! Especially ideal for mounting to moving vehicles. They can be screwed to the wall, a vehicle, or a board that can then be mounted as needed. Or they can be strapped to objects like poles, backpacks, racks, and more! Comes with two brackets and one retaining pin. Uses wood screws, sheetrock screws, or #8 flat head machine screws for mounting. Screws not included.

I am using the mounting pin bracket, not as intended, but it works as an easy way to secure and release the bracket from the rod holder. I run a rubber strap through the mounting bracket with a clip. This added strap makes my rods 5x more secure and I can quickly remove the strap whenever needed. On the pricier side but when you factor the high value of the product overall - well worth it!
